Hi, my name is Lisa Pugh Roberts and I am so excited to be here at Yorkville School teaching Jr. High. I am actually from Dyer but my first two years of life were actually spent right here in Yorkville. I have been married for 9 years and my husband, Bradley, and I have beautiful twin daughters that turned 6 years old in March. My children are my first priority and they are the Loves of my life – their names are Abigail Rae and Adison LaVelle. We will also have a new addition to out family in January and we are so excited! My family is very important to me, my grandparents Raymond and Vivian Pugh were from here in Yorkville and almost all of my family went to Yorkville School and were reared here – my dad, Richard Pugh, actually graduated from Yorkville High School.
I graduated with Honors in the top ten percent of my class from Gibson County High School in 2001 and was also an Outstanding Senior. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from Bethel College in 2006. I am working towards my Master's Degree in Administration and Leadership at Bethel University right now and should be finished around Christmas of 2012. I taught Kindergarten for two years here at Yorkville and I taught a half year at Spring Hill in the Jr. High Language Arts department. I am now in my fourth year of teaching the Jr. High (5-8) Science class and I am looking forward to a wonderful year full of learning for both your child and myself.
