Homework for Mrs. Roberts' Science Class

-Study your notes EVERY Night!
Parents: Please be aware that your child's grade is determined from the following factors: 1. Participation 2. Quiz's 3. Tests 4. Science Notebook
Students always know at least 2 days in advance before we have a chapter test. Always know 1 day in advance if we will have a quiz. They will know at least 5 minutes in advance if we are having a "POP QUIZ" so they can review their notes from the previous day.
As a Reminder: Your child's homework every night is to read over their notes from the chapter we are in. To refresh their memory about what we are covering.
If we have finished our New Standards for the year- then please have your child review their notes from the very beginning. As I have stated time and time again- Their Science Notebook is the most important book they will have in my science class since we don't have reliable text books. The material we cover through out the year is what will be on T CAP - so please remind them how important it is to keep an organized - well maintained notebook. All of their graded papers should be kept inside their notebook as well under the tab that says "graded papers". You should be able to see their science grades at any time as long as they are maintaining their notebook properly.
